I always love riding in the USA as it’s so much fun to catch up with friends and enjoy the many beautiful locations, of which Asheville is one.
This time I was riding my bay gelding B’tash. The weather had been playing up again and it is huge testament to the ride organisers that they managed to pull the ride off, it was very nearly cancelled due to the recent rainy condition but they planned new routes on the other side of the amazing Biltmore estate and Stagg and Cheryl Newman pulled all the stops out to get the ride functional. It rode really well, and it would took it slow and steady and were delighted for B’tash to finally get this FEI 2* over 120 kms and come in 3rd. Fantastic ride, and brilliant horse. Can’t wait for next year !
